The most common way to diagnose a torn muscle is throw a MRI. There are two types of torn muscles someone could be diagnosed with. There is a first degree is just a stretch injury, with little or no tearing. Then theirs second degree injury is a partial tear.

There are many ways you can treat a torn muscle such as rest muscle, ice the area, compress the muscle elevate the injured limb and taking appropriate medication for the required amount of time.
